Tips for Visiting Blue Lagoon

There are something’s that you must know before going to the Blue lagoon to have the best experience.

Visit Early – If you want to have a wonderful time at the Blue Lagoon then you must go there early. With a lot of people visiting Blue Lagoon, there can be huge waiting lines. Afternoons are the busiest time at the Lagoon. So buy our tickets online with a fixed appointment to enter.

Drinks – Upon your arrival, you will be given a wristband. This colorful item is the key to your changing room locker. But it also functions as an in-water credit card. You can use it to purchase drinks and refreshments anywhere in the spa area.

Use hair conditioner – The seawater in the Blue Lagoon has high levels of silica. Silica is not harmful to hair. However, if your hair gets wet, it can become stiff and difficult to manage. Therefore, it is recommended that conditioner is applied to the hair before entering the lagoon (and leave it in the hair while in the lagoon). Complimentary conditioner is provided in the shower area.

Give yourself time – If you think that 3 hours will be more than enough to spend then you are wrong. You must keep in mind the waiting line. There is a chance that most of your time will spent standing in a queue. So plan your trip accordingly in order to enjoy the Blue Lagoon experience.

Bring Water – In case you are thinking that they will offer you free water, again you are wrong. They don’t offer any free water coolers or fountains. Mostly, spas offer water for its guests but the spas here charged extra for the water. You can become dehydrated in hot water. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you drink plenty of water during your visit to the Blue Lagoon. This is particularly important for people who have diabetes or high blood pressure.

Hence, the experience that Blue Lagoon provides is memorable and unique. I recommend going the Blue Lagoon either on your way to the airport or from the airport.
