Nottingham: Robin Hood’s Land in the Heart of England

Embodying an old century feel that’ll leave any traveler intrigued about the local history, Nottingham is a must-stop spot in the greater United Kingdom. Most known for its connection to Robin Hood, the hero of the downtrodden and giver to the poor, Nottingham resides in the beautiful East Midlands with land as far as the eye can see.

Upon visiting Nottingham, you must see the Robin Hood statue in the middle of town to really understand his effects on the local communities. Next, stop at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, a town-celebrated pub that is one of several pubs in England which claim to be the oldest.

Lastly, if you happen to visit in the winter, you must drop by the German Christmas Market, full of food, knick-knacks, and keepsakes you’ll cherish for a lifetime.
