From the mid-century on, Prague was considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Nearby is the Golden Street with eleven little houses built at the end of 16th century and named after the goldsmiths that lived here. The most famous of the little houses is the blue one, where once lived the world.known writer, Franz Kafka. Besides, here you can find souvenir shops and museums with an impressive collection of weapons, armors and shields. Another one among the main attractions of the city is the Astronomical clock with a special mechanism that shows the relative position of the Sun and the Moon.
