On my trip to Sardinia in June 2017 I stayed in Porto Cervo.

Porto Cervo means deer’s port in English. It is located in the province of Sassari. Porto Cervo is 32 km away from Palau, 17 km away from Arzachena and 28 km away from Olbia. This seaside resort accommodates 421 inhabitants. The creation of Porto Cervo was a joint venture by Prince Karim Aga Khan and various other investors. It was designed in the late 1950s and early 1960s by some of the best architects and landscape designers, such as Jacques Couelle, Luigi Vietti and Michele Busiri Vici. Apart from the shops, restaurants and bars, Porto Cervo also has an exclusive yacht club and a shipyard which is capable of repairing luxury yachts. According to a study by a European real estate company, Romazzino Bay is the most expensive location at Porto Cervo and the houses at this location cost up to 300,000 euros per square meter.

If you are visiting Sardinia, you have to participate on a boat trip to Cala Goloritzé! It’s a must do on this island!
Cala Goloritzé is beautiful and small beach , located in the small town of Baunei at the east coast of Sardinia , 70 miles south of Olbia airport. It is one of the most photogenic places in the world and its secrecy and inaccessibility makes it even more appealing. You can travel to this beach by boat or by foot from the Gulf which takes about one and a half hour. You can get rental boats from the nearby ports of Santa Maria Navarrese and Arbatax. The areas of Cala Luna and Cala Fuili are good for snorkeling and have traces of the ancient Nuraghic civilisation. The way this beach was created is rather unusual and interesting. The beach was created as a result of land sliding in 1962. This beach is made up of small white pebbles and sand. Its high pinnacle of 143 meters above the cove and natural arch that opens on the right side of the bay are the most famous features of this beach.
