Visiting the Amazing New York City 🗽

New York City is one of the few cities in the world where no one ever seems to sleep. There are people out on the streets early in the morning, later in the day, and all hours of the night. Cars, taxis, and buses fill the streets and pedestrians need to be careful of them as well as the bikers who are rushing to deliver documents to businesses around the city.

The most popular destination in New York City is Times Square and everyone who visits the city will find themselves in this square at some point during their stay. Early in the morning, people can line up to watch Good Morning America and be part of their live audience and during the rest of the day, people can have their pictures taken with the Statue of Liberty, Elmo, Dora, and numerous other characters that are inside Times Square. The characters may be popular, but most people want their photo taken with the Naked Cowboy. He has been a mainstay in this area for years and some people go there just to see him.

New York City has always been a city filled with hopes and dreams and that goes back to when the immigrants were crossing the ocean and arriving in this country. As soon as the boats came into the harbor, everyone went to Ellis Island to be checked in. Nowadays, everyone can visit Ellis Island to see the museum and they can also stop at the island where the Statue of Liberty is located.

It can take weeks or even months for a person to see everything that this amazing city has to offer. There are so many Broadway shows, attractions, and restaurants for people to go to and it is impossible to do it all in one visit. That is why it is common for people to return to New York City after their first trip. No one is satisfied with a little of this city, they want it all, and New York City is happy to oblige.

I have been 3 times to New York (2013, 2015 and 2016) and I haven’t visited all major attractions yet.
